Since its debut a few years back, EA Access on Xbox One (and Origin Access on PC) have provided gamers the chance to check out EA’s extensive backlog of games and the chance to demo several of the company’s upcoming titles, with EA providing a look into what’s in store over the next three months for the subscription service.
EA has announced the next updates of titles, trials, and more heading to EA Access and Origin Access for the remainder of the year, with one of the biggest highlights being that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available on both services in the near future, allowing subscribers the ability to play the game to their heart’s content. Dead Space 3 will also be joining the services sometime later this year.
Alongside the new games, EA also announced several new free trials that will be arriving later this year for EA’s slate of upcoming titles, including Star Wars Battlefront II, Need for Speed: Payback, and the upcoming Xbox One version of The Sims 4, allowing players to get some early hands-on time with the games before their full retail/digital release, usually one or two weeks beforehand.
EA Access is available for Xbox One owners with an active subscription, while Origin Access is the equivalent service for PC users on Origin.
