Bayonetta and Vanquish Remasters Leak on Microsoft Store

Bayonetta, News, Originals, PC, PlatinumGames, PS4, Sega, vanquish, Xbox One

Two of PlatinumGames’ most beloved titles are seemingly returning early next year in the form of new remasters.

Over on the Microsoft Store, new listings were found that state both Bayonetta and Vanquish will be remastered and head to the Xbox One platform next year. Both games are set to release together in a single 10th Anniversary Bundle, but can also seemingly be purchased on their own as well. Best of all is that it doesn’t seem like we’ll have to wait very long for these games to launch as the store page has both titles set to drop on February 18, 2020.

What’s kind of strange about this remastered bundle is that a Vanquish and Bayonetta double pack leaked on multiple retail sites all the way back in 2017. However, for one reason or another, the bundle never ended up actually being revealed by Sega and it never saw the light of day. Who knows if this collection of Bayonetta and Vanquish has been around that long or not, but it seems as though Sega has had the intent to release these two games in a collection for quite some time now.

While remastered versions of Vanquish and Bayonetta haven’t leaked for other platforms yet, they’ll almost surely be coming elsewhere besides just Xbox One. A PS4 and PC relaunch of these two games seems incredibly likely and we should hear more about each soon, if I had to guess.

When Sega has more to announce on both these remasters of Vanquish and Bayonetta formally, we’ll be sure to let you know.
