Tonight, Square Enix Japan gave the audience at the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World of Tres concert a first look at the upcoming DLC content for Kingdom Hearts III. The DLC, Kingdom Hearts III ReMind was also revealed to be coming out sometime this winter for PS4 and Xbox One. Someone appears to have recorded the trailer during the event, but watch it below at your own risk as it does contain spoilers from the game.
Kingdom Hearts III launched earlier this year in January and concluded the story of the Dark Seeker Saga. The ReMind DLC will essentially act as the Final Mix version of the game with additional episodes, bosses, and plenty of other secrets you’ll be able to find. The trailer also appears to show Aqua and Roxas as playable characters.
If you’ve been itching to jump back into the world of Sora and friends, this additional content should give you plenty of reasons to. I’m personally hoping we’ll get to see the inclusion of Final Fantasy characters who did not appear in any capacity in Kingdom Hearts III. Maybe that’s wishful thinking though.
We’ll be sure to give you an update once we see ReMIND’s official reveal. If you’re interested in tuning into Square Enix’s E3 showcase, you can stream it over at their official Twitch channel on Monday, June 10 at 6:00 pm PT.
Square has already begun teasing what’s in store for their showcase, you can expect to see some more of the long-awaited Avengers game as well as new details on Final Fantasy VII Remake. Furthermore, it looks like we’ll get new information on the Dragon Quest series.
