Remedy Entertainment’s latest release in Control is nearly upon us at the end of this summer. Before arrival though, a new set of screenshots for the game has today been released.
As unveiled by Remedy and publisher 505 Games, these new images from Control show off a variety of new looks at the game. Not only do we get to see more of the locations that we’ll travel to in Control, but we get to see some more of the many characters we’ll come across throughout the experience. Up until now, the game’s protagonist, Jesse Faden, has been one of the only main characters that we have seen in footage from Control. Rest assured though, there will be plenty of people that you’ll run into.
In addition to new characters and locations, these images also show off some more action sequences taken from moments of combat. Personally, I continue to really love the art direction in Control and these new images continue to emphasize the game’s unique look. There is a wide variety of colors being used here and Control’s use of lighting and shadows creates a really eerie feeling in some of these new images.
If you’d like to check out all of the new screenshots for yourself, you can find them in the gallery down below. Control is set to release later this year on August 27, 2019, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. To tide you over until release, be sure to check out our recent preview of the game.
