Using the expression the “countdown of Death Stranding” seems to indicate we should learn much more about the game on May 29. The tweet also adds the “Create the rope” slogan found in the newest Death Stranding mysterious video.

The Japanese official Twitter for Kojima Productions meanwhile made the same announcement. The tweet reads: “The countdown to #DEATHSTRANDING ‘s latest information update has begun. It’s scheduled to be revealed on May 30 (Japanese time). Look forward to it! CREATE THE ROPE!”.
The Japanese Twitter announced a May 30 date for the announcement. Meaning it could happen at any time starting May 30 midnight JST. We can conclude that for Europeans such as I, the reveal won’t be happening before at least late afternoon.
Kojima recently hinted he’s working on a new trailer. Space Channel 5, Rez creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi also recently saw Death Stranding in action.
