Super Mario Maker 2 is just right around the corner. It is so close that I can almost smell all the salt there will be had when I throw my controller in rage due to dying once again on a level I am determined to beat. But, other then the immense amount of frustration this game will cause for me, I am looking forward to diving back into all of the different themes from my favorite titles this game has to offer such as Super Mario World and Super Mario 3D World. Yet, there are still a few that we feel like are missing.
FawfulTG64 drew up a fantastic recreation of what a Paper Mario theme might look like in the latest Super Mario Maker sequel. While I am a bit skeptical that Nintendo would ever a Paper Mario theme in the game, this is a great rendition of what it could resemble if they were ever to do so, and I have to say that FawfulTG64 did a phenomenal job in this mockup. I would totally buy that this was officially from Nintendo!

Super Mario Maker 2 is set to release on June 28, 2019, for the Nintendo Switch. If you are still a bit wary on picking up the title, make sure to check out DualShockers’ review of the first title on the Nintendo Wii. While Super Mario Maker 2 is a much deeper experience with a lot more options to build with and ways to play, the base game provides a similar experience.
