We have finally gotten the install size for Days Gone, developed by Sony Bend studios. Their new IP will officially have an install size of 67 GB after the day one patch. It is nothing too outrageous, but users who have started running out of memory on their PS4 systems might need to clear out some room for this one.
Personally, I can’t wait to get my hands on the game. It is actually one of my most anticipated games of the year. I was able to play it at PAX South and was thoroughly impressed. I had some technical difficulties with my demo due to the TV not being set to the right picture mode that was sorted out with other players after me, but I was wowed with the presentation, cinematics, and performances from the actors. On top of that, the game was one of the best looking games I have ever seen and I am greatly looking forward to playing around with the photo mode. I would not be surprised if Days Gone blows critics expectations away since many have been down on it already. I guess we will see in just a couple of weeks.
Days Gone releases exclusively for PS4 later this month on April 26. If you have not yet pre-ordered the game and would like to do so, you can do that right here through Amazon. For more in-depth coverage of the game, make sure to check out more of our impressions from our time at PAX East.
