Koei Tecmo revealed with a trailer and screenshots Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, releasing on July 5 for Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC via Steam. As the name suggests, the game is a Final Mix of sorts.
Final Battle will cover events from the third season of the Attack on Titan anime. New characters will be added for a total of over 40 playable characters. New gameplay elements like being able to use Thunder Spears, anti-personnel combat using anti-personnel omnidirectional mobility gear and a new Wall Reclamation mode are coming as well. In this mode, you’ll be able to pick a leader to play as and form a squad with any of the characters without restrictions and take down titans to recover outside territories.
Players who already own Attack on Titan 2 will be able to get Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle via a paid DLC. New physical copies for Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle will be sold as well.
Koei Tecmo also announced that more info and first live gameplay of the game will be shown during a live stream on March 30. The stream will feature Koei Tecmo and Attack on Titan Producer Hideo Suzuki, Eren’s seiyuu Yuki Kaji and Sasha’s seiyuu Yuu Kobayashi. You can find follow the stream on YouTube or on NicoNico.
