Today, Bandai Namco announced that the latest DLC character Amy will be joining the Soulcalibur VI roster on March 25. Amy was revealed back in February as the third DLC character coming to the game. As with every character, she’ll be included in the game’s season pass or can be bought separately for $5.99.
Alongside Amy, there’ll be a whole bunch of new customization items available to players. These can be used in the game’s character creator; which has become a staple in the Soulcalibur series since the third entry which launched back in 2005. Players have gotten pretty crafty with the sixth game’s character creator, we went ahead and made our own versions of Boosette and Bowsette. Music from previous Soulcalibur games will also be made available when Amy launches.
In tradition with the Soulcalibur series’ guest fighters, 2B from Nier: Automata appeared as the game’s second DLC character. Tira was the first character to release as DLC and was announced before the game launched. There has been some speculation around the web that Cassandra will be the fourth character in the game’s DLC lineup. Both Amy and Cassandra were hinted at in some in-game files months before Amy was even announced.
Soulcalibur VI is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The title will be appearing as one of the nine headling fighting games at EVO 2019 later this year. Is there anyone missing from the Soulcalibur VI roster that you’d like to see? It seems that nowadays most fighting games have opted for multiple seasons of content so hopefully, we’ll see a whole new batch of characters once the first season of DLC is complete.
