Developer IO Interactive announced Hitman: HD Enhanced Collection today and fans of the smooth-headed assassin won’t have too long to wait at all as it’s due for release on January 11 for PS4 and Xbox One. It will unfortunately only be available digitally, at least for the time being.
Hitman: Blood Money which originally hit the shelves in 2006 and Hitman Absolution ( that released in 2012 ) will get a sparkling makeover as it gets pampered to 4K resolution with an added bonus of 60 frames-per-second thrown in there too. IO Interactive stated in a tweet that the duo of upgraded games will receive improved lighting and upgraded controls.

Many older games have gone “under the knife” and resurfaced in HD like Assassin’s Creed, Batman: Arkham, God of War, and Kingdom Hearts so it’s great to see Hitman getting a nip/tuck here and there. Hitman 2 came out on November 15 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC with our very own Chris reviewing the title and giving it a whopping 9/10! You can get your hands on a copy, if you haven’t done so already, over on Amazon.
Hitman HD Enhanced Collection will release digitally next week on January 11 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
