Developer Big Bad Wolf and publisher Focus Home Interactive are releasing the complete season and also the final episode of their narrative adventure in The Council, where Louis de Richet will take his final journey on deciding his path – and the fate of the world.
Like most narrative episodic titles, each episode releases every two months with the first adventure hitting our screens in March this year, followed by Episode 2: Hide and Seek in May, Episode 3: Ripples in July, Episode 4: Burning Bridges in September, and now concluding with Episode 5: Checkmate.
In Episode 5: Checkmate you will need to be ready for the ultimate confrontation as Louis De Richet’s choices, blunders, rivals, and family all come together in this final showdown. Always remembering that your choices will have even more powerful consequences than before. Who will win, and can the De Richet’s survive the island in the end?
If you’re a fan of this tense adventure, you may already own the Complete Season or the Season Pass which contains all five episodes. If so, you can get a two-day head start and play Episode 5: Checkmate on December 4. For everyone else, Episode 5 will be available for download on PlayStation and Xbox digital stores as a single episode two days later, on December 6.
