Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has released a new trailer for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown that features a wide arrangement of aircraft customization options.
To start the video, we get a glimpse at the aircraft tree, which seems to imitate a typical skill tree you would find in many games today. The video showcased an F-140 fighter jet being purchased with the games in-game currency. Then, immediately after, the large carrier-based jet was shown off in action utilizing the 8AAM air-to-air missiles that had been purchased in the aircraft tree as well. We also got a look at the purchase and action of an AC-130 along with some other jets.
The trailer also featured a plethora of customization options for weapon parts. When I say a plethora, I mean it. When choosing a jet, you can swap through all the different missile types that are available as well as body and arm styles.
Finally, the video gave us a glimpse at some skin emblems in the game that can be unlocked by completing some in-game challenges.
You can watch the new trailer below or check out this other trailer that showcases the VR mode. After a delay that was announced a couple months ago, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unkown will release on January 18 for PS4 and Xbox One, and February 1 for PC through Steam. You can pre-order the game for PS4 through Amazon here.
