Studio Wildcard revealed that their massively popular dinosaur-infused survival game Ark: Survival Evolved would be coming to Nintendo Switch all the way back in March. The port was given a Fall 2018 release window then and it looks like it will make it as the developers announced today that Ark: Survival Evolved is hitting Nintendo Switch on November 30.
This port of Ark: Survival Evolved will cost $49.99 at launch and contains all the features and content found in other version of the game, so players won’t have to worry about a neutered port. The survival title hit iOS and Android back in June, so it makes sense that the title could also work on Nintendo Switch.
That being said, Studio Wildcard didn’t develop the port alone, they received help from Abstraction Games. There is currently no word on if Ark: Survival Evolved for Nintendo Switch will receive the PvP Conquest mode playable on PC and in development for PS4 and Xbox One.
You can check out the live-action trailer for the Switch port which announces the release date below. Ark: Survival Evolved is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with Nintendo Switch being added to the lineup on November 30.
