If you like watching yourself die over and over again in Call of Duty, or if you want to watch yourself and improve (who wants to do that anyway) then you’re in luck. Today, when the Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta went live, players were treated with a rather unannounced, yet unsurprising, addition: Theater Mode.
While currently inaccessible in the game, players can clearly see the option for it in the main menu of the beta. Theater Mode has become a bit of a staple in Treyarch’s previous entries so it should really come as no shock that it’ll be in this one, however, it’s always nice to get a confirmation.
What’ll be interesting is seeing how the Theater Mode looks in Blackout, or whether or not if the mode can even use it at all. I wouldn’t be shocked if we have to wait until launch to find out, however, as Treyarch hasn’t unveiled Theater features before launch, besides the first entry of course.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to hit store shelves on October 12, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
