While Hitman 2 retains many of the same game mechanics of its 2016 predecessor, developer IO Interactive and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a new video to show off some key additions. With new HUD features like the improved mini-map and a picture-in-picture display, players will have new options when pursuing their targets.
Security cameras are a common obstacle to success, but a grid will visualize the area that cameras will capture. With picture-in-picture, the game will show players important contextual moments to help them plan out their movements—this feature will track targets, and point out any loose ends that the player needs to tie up to avoid being detected.
Hitman 2 will take players in new environments, like a recently revealed jungle map. The video also reminds players of a competition for Hitman: Sniper Assassin, with winners getting their name and likeliness in the final Hitman 2 game. The non-episodic title will release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in November 13. Pre-order the game on Amazon here.
