Today, Koei Tecmo released a new batch of screenshots of its upcoming city-building RPG Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World.
We learn that the gameplay flow will be divided between weekdays, in which Nelke will work and handle city planning, and holidays, in which she will visit the residents and deepen relationships. This will also lead to advances in alchemical knowledge.
Residents can be set as alchemists, shopkeepers, and more. Those who aren’t alchemists can also be sent to search the surroundings and to shop for items. There are a lot of activities to enjoy in the weekend, including fishing.
Visiting characters on holidays and fulfilling their requests will raise their friendship level. Research can lead to creating new items, improving them, and obtaining rare ones that can be useful for city planning and further research. Special formulae that can be learned by cooperative alchemy with famous alchemists can lead to unlocking relics.
Of course, there will also be plenty of events to enjoy with the residents.
You can enjoy the screenshots below. If you want to see more, you can enjoy another gallery of screenshots, the previous batch, more earlier images, and the first gallery.
At the moment we don’t have a release date for the west, besides “Winter 2018,” but it will come for PS4, Switch, and PC, losing the PS Vita version. The Japanese release will happen on December 13th.
