Today Koei Tecmo and Gust released a brand new batch of screenshots of Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists: Atelier of the New Land.
The screenshots showcase a couple new characters and several returning ones starting with Nelke’s own maid and childhood friend, Misty Erlut.
We also see the return of Escha Malier and Logix Ficsario from Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, Elfir “Elie” Traum from Atelier Elie: The Alchemist of Salburg 2, and Viese Blanchimont from Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny. The inevitable fairy (simply called Fairy) bears a strong resemblance with Popote from Atelier Elkrone: Dear for Otomate.
For all characters, we also get some nice artwork completing this reveal.
The game is in development for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PS Vita, and will release in Japan this year. No western release has been announced for the moment, but Gust games get localized most of the time, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear something about it around Tokyo Game Show in September.
