Pocket Rumble from Cardboard Robot Games and Chucklefish was one of the first indie titles revealed for Nintendo Switch. While it was supposed to release in the Switch’s launch month of March 2017, it had been indefinitely pushed back due to problems with the multiplayer portion of the game.
After explaining their reasoning behind the delay and teasing a release date announcement earlier this month, the developers have finally revealed that Pocket Rumble will be launching on Nintendo Switch on July 5. For those of you who aren’t aware, Pocket Rumble is a fighting game inspired by titles on the Neo Geo Pocket Color, a relatively obscure handheld from SNK.
When the game launches on Nintendo Switch, it will be on par with the version of the game currently available on PC. After the Switch port’s release, the developers will adding new content and bosses to the PC version, which they will eventually bring over to Nintendo Switch as part of an update.
