During the Twitch Live coverage from E3 2018 in Los Angeles, Koei Tecmo showcased some more gameplay of Dead or Alive 6. Actually, it’s an extended version of the footage shown yesterday.
We get to see a few matches showing the six characters that have been introduced so far, Ryu, Jann Lee, Kasumi, Hayate, Zack, and Helena. We also see the tutorial mode, and in some of the matches the characters are wearing their alternate colors.
We also hear Producer and Director Shimbori-san as he promises that Kasumi sill still have her traditional costume, and dispelling the misconceptions about the presence of jiggle physics.
Dead or Alive 6 has been revealed last week and is coming in early 2019. We also got the first details and plenty of 4K screenshots for your viewing pleasure. During an earlier interview, Shinbori-san explained how the team is shifting towards a cooler look for the game compared to previous installments of the franchise.
We also learned that the new girls from Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation won’t appear in this game and a Nintendo Switch port isn’t being considered.
