Star Fox Will Be a Playable Character in Starlink: Battle for Atlas on Switch

We finally got some more information about Starlink: Battle for Atlas during Ubisoft’s E3 2018 Press Conference including a release date and some exciting news about an exclusive add-on character.

After announcing it with a trailer and some screenshots during last year’s E3 2017 press briefing, players were interested in the toy to life game where they will be able to construct their own starships through the use of  “Smart Building Technology” and transport them into the game to use by mounting them onto their controllers.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas finds players part of a group of heroic interstellar pilots tasked with saving the Atlas star system from the Forgotten Legion, an evil robot force in this open-world space saga.

During the presentation today, viewers were happily surprised by a trailer featuring the leader of the Star Fox team, Fox McCloud, and Ubisoft announced that he will be an exclusive for Nintendo Switch along with his iconic Arwing ship.

The Nintendo Switch Starter Pack includes:

  • Starlink Controller Mount
  • Poster
  • Arwing Starship – includes modular hull and two Arwing wings, with laser cannon weapons and charge shot built in
  • Fox McCloud Pilot
  • Mason Rana Pilot
  • Flamethrower Weapon
  • Frost Barrage Weapon
  • Digital versions of Zenith Starship and Shredder weapon
  • Exclusive Star Fox mission content

The PlayStation 4 system and Xbox One the Starter Pack includes:

  • Starlink Controller Mount
  • Poster
  • Zenith Starship – includes modular hull and two Armor wings
  • Mason Rana Pilot
  • Shredder Weapon
  • Flamethrower Weapon
  • Frost Barrage Weapon
