Today Bandai Namco announced that Level-5’s recently-released JRPG Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom has now shipped over 900,000 copies worldwide.
The number includes both physical shipments to retailers and digital download copies sold for PS4 and PC, and it’s a nice achievement for the game in about two months on the shelves. This is especially true considering that Ni No Kuni II didn’t exactly enjoy a stellar performance in Japan.
We also learn that the whole series achieved over 2.8 million copies sold. This includes Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for PS3, and the original DS version Ni no Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn, which many appear to have forgotten about, probably because it was never launched outside of Japan.
It’ll be interesting to see how long it’ll take for the game to pass a million shipments. In the meanwhile, you can enjoy our review.
If you want to add to the number, you can grab a copy of the game on Amazon.
