Last month, NeocoreGames, Bigben Interactive, and Games Workshop revealed that Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr would release simultaneously on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 8. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case, as the developers have announced that the game has been delayed until June 5.
While the PC version of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is running smoothly, NeocoreGames ran into some unanticipated technical issues with the console versions at the last minute. This meant that the console versions of the game would not be able to make it to manufacturing in time for the previously announced release date.
NeocoreGames, Bigben Interactive, and Games Workshop had previously agreed to release all versions of the game together, which means that Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr had to be delayed on all platforms. While this delay is definitely disappointing for those of us looking forward to the game, I would rather the developers take the extra time to polish the console versions instead of releasing a broken game.
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr will n0w release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on June 5. You can currently pre-order the game on Amazon.
