With seven original characters and a few noteworthy guests — including Guacamelee!‘s Juan and The Drifter from Hyper Light Drifter — Brawlout brings a Smash Bros.-like brawling experience to multiple platforms, and now the game is officially going to start the fight on PS4 later this year.
Over on the PlayStation Blog, developer Angry Mob Games announced that Brawlout will be heading to PS4 this summer, giving PS4 owners the chance to experience party-style fighting with friends.
Angry Mob provided a few more details on the game that it will include around 18 total fighters (which includes numerous variants of several characters), and that three total guest characters will be included in the game, with one character still to be announced leading up to the game’s release.
In addition to the game’s local multiplayer offerings, the game will support online functionality on PS4, and will also provide visual enhancements for players on PS4 Pro, including 4K resolution.
Brawlout is available now on PC and Nintendo Switch, and will be releasing for PS4 this summer. An Xbox One version of the game is also expected sometime later this year. For more on the game, you can check out the new trailer to accompany the game’s upcoming PS4 release this summer:
