Today Koei Tecmo and DMM updated their free-to-play PC game Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation to version 1.18, and while there wasn’t much in terms of new features, it implemented a brand new event.
This one is of the KizunaFes variety, meaning that it’s based on gaining bonuses by using your friends’ characters as guests (“Kizuna” means “bond” in Japanese).
By participating you can get a SR costume which is basically just a pareo and an iconic flower wreath. Various additional prices include trend gacha tickets, V-stones aplenty, and more.
Cumulative score rewards include SSR tickets, SSR tokens, and an SSR accessory for Hitomi. Unfortunately, you’ll have to hustle a lot to get those, because you need to get into the top 3,000 of the leaderboards to start getting the best prizes, which is easier said than done.
While the SR version of the costume is generic, you can also get an SSR version exclusively for Hitomi from the new gacha included in the event (which will also unlock Hitomi herself if you don’t have her). Of course, the percentage of getting it is the usual 0.43%, which is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds. It’ll be interesting to see how long DMM will be able to keep the game going with this kind of percentages.
Incidentally, active players should probably receive 35 normal gacha tickets from two different twitter events today. You probably shouldn’t get your hopes too high, though. Personally, I got a single SR from them all, but I hope you’ll be luckier.
You can check out a few screenshots below. If you want to play the game on your own PC (it’s only in Japanese but it’s fairly easy to understand) you can learn how to in our handy guide.
