Paradox Interactive and Harebrained Schemes released a brand new trailer of the upcoming mecha combat game BattleTech.
The title, based on the old and glorious tabletop wargame with the same name, places the player in the role of a mercenary commander.
It won’t just be a matter of winning battles, but also of administering your lance, making sure that finances stay in the black. You’ll have to keep your mechwarriors happy, control repairs and refueling, and make sure you don’t destroy enemy mechs or your own too badly, which could prevent the acquisition of precious salvage.
This is achieved via a very deep strategy simulation that let you explore the galaxy freely and decide what mission to undertake without restrictions, as part of an open-ended campaign.
You can check out the trailer below. The game will be available in April 2018, exclusively for PC- It was supposed to launch last year, but it was eventually delayed.
