Rockstar Games has announced new information regarding Grand Theft Auto Online. The next major update: Smuggler’s Run will launch on August 29th on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
According to the developer, Smuggler’s Run will introduce business opportunities to Grand Theft Auto Online by using air corridors above Los Santos and Blaine County. On top of that, the update will also add a fresh lineup of planes, choppers, and ultralights, which can be used as highly viable methods for transporting illegal cargo across the game.
The Smuggler’s Run update will also introduce an extensive range of aircrafts that can be customizable to fit any mission you tackle on top of that; expensive hangars will be added so you can stash your collection of prized aircrafts to your heart’s content. These introduced properties are also HQ’s and will allow you to manage your smuggling business.
Lastly, Rockstar has announced that a fresh batch of stunt races will be included during the fall of this year. The tweaks to stunt racing will reinvent the way you race on air, land, and sea. Importantly, it will include a checkpoint system that will allow you to change your vehicle to accommodate a particular portion of the course, you’re currently racing on.
