Almost everyone can agree that the best thing about both Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 is its villains. So when Far Cry 5 was originally announced, naturally, all eyes were on the game’s antagonist Joseph Seed, aka The Father. Now, just a few weeks from the game’s release, developer Ubisoft has released a brand new UbiBlog, and it’s completely centered on the deranged preacher from the open-world first-person shooter.
The nearly three-minute video, which you can, as always, check out at the end of the article, features some of the developers of the game, and even the actor of the creepy character Greg Bryk, essentially discussing certain scenes with the character, and what it’s like to see those scenes as an observer, rather than as a developer.
If you aren’t interested in Far Cry 5’s story, a few days ago, Far Cry Arcade was revealed, which is the game’s map editor/level designer. Coming sometime after launch, it will allow players to create their own Far Cry missions using objects, textures, and assets from Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5, Far Cry Primal, Watch_Dogs, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and Assassin’s Creed Unity, and then upload them to the cloud for other people to download and play.
Far Cry 5 is set to be officially released on March 27, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
