Idea Factory International launched a new trailer for the otome visual novel Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms, coming digitally and physically to PlayStation Vita on March 13 in North America and March 16 in Europe, and PC this Spring.
The new gameplay trailer focuses on scenes from the game that has to do with the new Corruption feature. During the game, players will be able to offer blood or medicine to a member of the Shinsengumi. However, it is possible to just watch them suffer through it. These choices do have an effect on which characters players end up romancing in the game.
Additionally, the publisher releases information on two of the available bachelors, Heisuke Toudou and Susumu Yamazaki. Toudou is the youngest member of the Shinsengumi and has trouble coping with the rise of Imperial Nationalism in Edo. He attempts to move beyond his naivety and focuses on his love for Chizuru.
Furthermore, Yamazaki is a shy and skillful ninja who is also a well-versed medic. He works with the Shinsengumi and does various tasks such as gathering supplies for Chizuru and helping out where he is needed.
In case you missed it, new screenshots were recently released of Hajime Saito and Keisuke Sanan, and the demon boy Chikage Kazama.
