Nintendo has announced that Yo-Kai Watch 3 will release in North America on February 8, 2019 for the Nintendo 3DS. It will come in two iterations subtitled Sushi and Tempura. For those in Europe there is only the release window of “this winter.”
This update came with the announcement of a new update for Yo-Kai Watch Blasters today that added more missions, areas, and Big Bosses. The newest Yo-Kai Watch for North America will introduce new locations, characters, and new battle system.
Meanwhile Yo-Kai Watch 4 will be releasing for Nintendo Switch this winter in Japan, as Yo-Kai Watch 3 released in Japan in 2016.
Yo-Kai Watch began as a video game and TV show that premiered in 2013 from Level-5. Based around befriending Yo-kia (think ghosts), the franchise has drawn similarities to Pokémon and even had its own version of Pokémon Go with Yo-Kai Watch World on mobile devices in Japan.
