It’s hard not to argue that Xbox Game Pass is currently one of the best deals across console and PC gaming, with the subscription service continuing to offer a huge selection of games for a relatively low monthly/annual cost. As is tradition, the start of a new month means the arrival of a new roster of games that are coming to Game Pass, with one long-requested title finally making its way over very soon.
Microsoft has officially announced the lineup of games coming to Xbox Game Pass for December 2020, which boasts an impressive roster of 17 new games. Specifically, one of the biggest new additions is Control, which is finally making its way over to Xbox Game Pass after previously being confirmed by Phil Spencer (and then de-confirmed by Remedy) in the past for the service.

Following Remedy’s acclaimed title, this month also sees a number of new additions for Game Pass across console, PC, and Android devices. Some of the brand new titles that will release in December include Call of the Sea and Haven, while Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition will bring the massive JRPG over to Xbox for the first time. DOOM Eternal was also confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass on PC later this week.
Alongside the newly-announced games coming to the subscription service, Microsoft is also offering potential new Game Pass subscribers a deal to get their first three months of the service for $1 starting on December 3, 2020. With the holiday season in full swing, this is likely a great gift that you can offer for a loved one or family member that is in into gaming.
