With its official last year, Xbox Game Pass has quickly become one of the core new features that Microsoft has been concentrating its efforts in to give Xbox owners a unique way to play the latest Xbox titles at a low cost, and now the service has been further integrated into the Xbox experience right from the system’s homescreen.
Microsoft has unveiled a few new updates that have begun rolling out to Xbox One owners on the dashboard, with the most significant new change being the implementation of a dedicated homepage tab for Xbox Game Pass.
The Game Pass tab feature, which was implemented for Xbox Insider Program members in June, is now availalbe to all Xbox One owners and will provide easier access to checking out the latest games available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, along with a more accessible way to explore the current selection of games available from the service.
In addition to the dedicated Game Pass tab, a new feature has also been included in the form of Official Clubs, which provides centralized hubs on the Xbox dashboard for “select titles,” such as Minecraft, that provide viewers with the latest updates and info on favorite games and developers.
Heads up: Later today we are rolling out the Game Pass tab to all Xbox One owners. Quickly access the Game Pass catalog directly from the dashboard. No system update required. https://t.co/VOgGEJI0A2 pic.twitter.com/QsCCMEvb05
