WWE 2K18 officially releases next week, but players who purchased the Deluxe Edition have access to the game four days early…. That’s today! To celebrate its launch, a new trailer narrated by WWE Superstar Seth Rollins and WWE Legend and Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has been unveiled flaunting its gameplay and new features.
Claiming to be the “most realistic WWE game ever,” the video shows off some in-ring action as well as entrances from the game’s extensive roster. It also details the new MyCareer mode with footage of a created wrestler walking backstage, talking with other Superstars, and brawling with Bray Wyatt in Vince McMahon’s office.
A slew of other features such as the new Road to Glory mode and the “massive” creation suite are also highlighted in the launch trailer seen below.
The standard edition of WWE 2K18 will launch on October 17, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version is expected to release sometime this Fall. If you want to see what we thought of the game so far, you can check out our preview.
We also interviewed SmackDown Live tag team Breezango and the glorious Bobby Roode. At the same event, we interviewed some of the developers from Visual Concepts about this year’s iteration of the popular wrestling game franchise.
