While the game hit PC, PS4, and Xbox One last fall, today marks the launch of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus from MachineGames and Bethesda on Nintendo Switch. To celebrate, a new trailer for this port was released that showcases both the motion controls and the game running in handheld mode.
For those of you who aren’t aware, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is first-person shooter and follow-up to Wolfenstein: The New Order, which released back in 2014. The game follows the story of series protagonist BJ Blazkowicz as he continues to fight and brutally kill Nazis. Panic Button, the developers of this port, recently stated that there are currently no plans to bring Wolfenstein: The New Order to Nintendo Switch.
DualShockers had the chance to try out the port at PAX East, though our thoughts on it were mixed. It is currently unclear if the Nintendo Switch version of Wolfenstein II will receive all the DLC released on other platforms or if the recently announced Wolfenstein Youngblood will come to the hybrid console.
You can check out the launch trailer for the Nintendo Switch version of the game, which can be picked up on Amazon, below. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is now available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
