If you’re a fan of Cold War Zombies, you’re probably feeling a little left out. Not only is Mauer Der Toten still not here, but the new Outbreak Easter Egg also hasn’t arrived yet either.
Thankfully, fans won’t be waiting much longer for the new easter egg to kick off. Until then, there’s still plenty of content in both Cold War and Warzone to tide you over.

Cold War & Warzone Season 4
On June 17th, Season 4 kicked off in both Cold War and Warzone. The latest update brings players a brand new Battle Pass with 100 Tiers of cosmetics, weapons, music tracks, and more.
Warzone fans can jump in now to discover crashed satellites around the map, a new dirt bike which is now the fastest vehicle in the game, and a new Red Door fast travel system.
For Cold War multiplayer fans, there’s brand new weapons, modes, double XP, and even the return of fan favorite map, Hijacked.
Outbreak Easter Egg – Zoo
As part of Season 4, Zombies fans have received a brand new Outbreak region to play on, known as Zoo.
Zoo is set in the Ural Mountains and is an absolutely massive map for players to explore. There will be a brand new Easter Egg for players to discover, which as of writing, isn’t live just yet.
The new Easter Egg will act as the prologue for Mauer der Toten, a new round-based map coming at a later date.
Start Time & Release Date
Thanks to the official Treyarch Studios Twitter account, we know that the new Outbreak Easter Egg will kick off on June 17th at the following times:
- 10AM PT
- 1PM ET
- 5PM BST
