Season 3 turned out to be one of the first Warzone seasons in a long time that actually didn’t have a weapon meta that was abused by every player. So, with Season 4 officially here, along with new weapons, is there a new meta?
With a total of three brand new weapons arriving in the launch of Season 4, we’d be surprised if there wasn’t. You know how it goes, all good things must come to an end.

Warzone Season 4
Season 4 kicked off in both Warzone and Cold War on June 17th, with a brand new Battle Pass, new Weapons, and plenty more.
Warzone players may have noticed that Satellites have come crashing down into Verdansk, creating brand new POIs around the map. There are also brand new ‘Red Doors’ that appear at random, which can teleport the player to another section of the map.
Players can jump into Season 4 of Warzone right now, available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
M82, C58, and Nail Gun
There are a total of 3 new weapons in the launch of Season 4, with more expected during the season. Two of the new weapons are available for free in the new Battle Pass:
- MG 82 (Tier 15)
- C 58 (Tier 31)
Whilst the Nail Gun can be unlocked by completing an in-game challenge.

Is There A New Meta In Warzone Season 4?
So, are any of the new weapons about to become the new meta in Season 4? Well, lets start with the new M82 LMG.
The M82 appears to have an incredibly straight line vertical recoil, which can be controlled fairly easily. Check out the clip below to see FaZe Booya absolutely shredding with it.
As for the new C58 Assault Rifle, ModernWarzone showcased on Twitter how the new weapon has absolutely no recoil. He also made a follow-up tweet stating that “So many guns feel OP in Warzone right now”.

And finally, the Nail Gun. We almost have no words for how ridiculous this new special weapon looks. FaZe Dirty showcased a clip on Twitter of him getting a team wipe with the new Nail Gun, which apparently takes enemies out in just a few shorts and short-range.
It looks like either of these 3 weapons could quite easily become the new meta in Warzone Season 4.
