With Season 3 of Cold War and Warzone now officially live in both games, many players are wondering what the new weapon meta for Season 3 could be. We’ve put together the top 3 guns to use in Warzone for Season 3.

Previous Warzone Meta
Before one of the most recent updates to Warzone, the weapon meta was the AUG Tactical Rifle from Cold War, the MAC-10 submachine gun from Cold War, the FFAR Assault Rifle from Cold War, and the Kar98k from Modern Warfare.
These are still perfectly acceptable guns to use in both Warzone and Cold War, but the AUG and FFAR did receive rather substantially nerfs before Season 3 kicked off.
The recently added Sykov pistol also became a brief meta, but Raven Software were quick to nerf the newly added weapon from Modern Warfare.
Warzone Season 3 Meta Weapon
Below you will find my personal choice of weapons for the new season of Warzone. The PPSH is a solid new SMG to use in Warzone, while the Swiss K31 is reminiscent of the Kar 98k.
It’s also worth noting that the AK-47 did in fact receive a buff for Season 3, and is now a great gun to use in Warzone. Check out the full attachment list below.

Warzone & Cold War Season 3
Season 3 of both Cold War and Warzone is now live in game! The new Season kicked off on April 22 with a whole plethora of content.
Warzone players were treated to the Destruction of Verdansk Event which saw the map become over run with Zombies, ultimately ending in its demise. However, the event did finish with players being transported back to 1984 and dropping into a brand new Verdansk for the first time.
Whilst Cold War players were given new Multiplayer Maps, New Weapons, New Operators, and so much more!
You can jump into Season 3 of both games right now, don’t forget to grab the new Battle Pass when you jump in.
Warzone and Cold War are available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
