Digital Extremes’ Warframe has had a great run so far on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with over 38 million registered players. Today we learn that another platform is soon going to join the fray.
You guessed it: it’s the Switch. The port is being developed by the good folks at Panic Button (which worked on DOOM, Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, and Rocket League).
The announcement was just made at TennoCon, which is Warframe‘s own fan convention, and we received a trailer and the first screenshots for your perusal. You can check them out below.
A release window has not been announced, so we’ll have to stay tuned on that. We’ll let you know as soon as Digital Extremes lets us know, which will hopefully be soon.
If you want to check out the game before it releases on the Switch, it’s currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can also check out the latest chapter “The Sacrifice.”
