The charming strategy JRPG Valkyria Chronicles 4 was released in Japan a few days ago, but Sega isn’t nearly done with it.
First of all, a new update has been released, numbered 1.01. On top of adding support for the first DLC, it also improves the game in ways that are not specified in the brief patch notes (which you can see below).
Secondly, we get a first look at the second DLC courtesy of the official Twitter account “Nikola and Kiara’s Infiltration Diary.” It’s titled “Squad E’s Absent Captain,” and it’ll release on April 5th for 1,000 yen (or as part of the 4,000 yen season pass).
Speaking of the first DLC, we get a neat new look at it thanks to character designer Raita Honjou himself.

Last, but certainly not least, Sega released a large batch with several PS4 themes on the Japanese PlayStation Store. Unfortunately, none of the thirteen themes is free. They cost 300 yen each, or 2,500 yen in a bundle. Below you can check out some sample pictures.
In order to buy and install them, you’ll need a Japanese PSN account, but then you’ll be able to use them on any account on your PS4, as long as the console is set as primary.

Besides the PS4 version released a few days ago, Japan will also get a Switch version in the summer. The western release will happen in the fall for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
