After announcing the game’s demo with a new trailer, Square Enix revealed Trials of Mana has a new exclusive post-game story episode, new classes for each of the characters, and a New Game Plus mode.
A new story episode can be enjoyed in Trials of Mana after reaching the game’s ending. Moreover, after discovering a certain message in Forsena’s library, each one of your party members will be able to go back to their respective homelands to Class Change again; unlocking brand new classes. Just like previous Class Change, you’ll have the choice between a new Light Class and a new Dark Class. Some of the 3D models for these new Classes were revealed:

Moreover, players who manage to clear the post-game will unlock New Game Plus mode, where you can restart the game while keeping your levels, Lucre (money), items, abilities, and Cactus Finds.
The Cactus Finds are another novelty of this remake. The recurrent Mana Series’ Cactus is hidden in every town, city, and dungeon of Trials of Mana. Players can search everywhere and try to find him. The more times you managed to find Cactus, the more bonus items you’ll get. There are 50 different Cactus to find in the whole game.
The original game didn’t have any of that, and these are great additions for this remake, making me even more excited as a fan.
If you’re interested, the game’s Japanese site also launched a party maker simulator through a personality test.
The usual reminder in case you forgot or if this is your first time reading about this game: This is a remake of Seiken Densetsu 3, released exclusively in Japan on Super Famicom/Snes in 1995. Seiken Densetsu 3 is the follow-up to Seiken Densetsu 2, known as Secret of Mana outside Japan. Seiken Densetsu 3 was officially translated as Trials of Mana and released outside Japan for the first time during E3 2019 via Collection of Mana on Nintendo Switch. The remake is also named Trials of Mana in the west. In Japan, the remake is titled Seiken Densetsu 3 Trials of Mana to differentiate it from the original Snes game.
Trials of Mana launches on April 24, 2020, on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It was first announced at E3 2019 along with some live gameplay.
