Last week, Black Ops 4 players on PlayStation 4 got their hands on a slew of brand new content in the form of Operation Spectre Rising. Two of those pieces of content include the Prop Hunt and Bounty Hunter game modes. While fans have been thoroughly enjoying the two modes, developer Treyarch has acknowledged some problems with them and outlined some of the changes that they’ll be making.

As revealed by Treyarch Senior Game Designer Matt Scronce, Treyarch will soon be making some major changes with both modes. On the Bounty Hunter side, the developer is looking into delaying the purple Shadow Blade beacon into each game’s first circle. This is being done in order to “avoid cramped fights when first landing” (which I can tell you from personal experience, was VERY annoying).

On the Prop Hunt side of things, a number of changes were made to the props themselves. Most importantly, props will now take drown/water damage, meaning they’ll no longer be able to stay underwater indefinitely (which, while incredibly fun, was stupidly overpowered). In addition, Treyarch is also fixing the Nuketown prop decoy problem, which was causing certain props to have unlimited health. Finally, while no specifics were given, Scronce also said that there would be “Best Play improvements for Props.”

In other Black Ops 4 news, Treyarch confirmed that the Alcatraz Blackout map would be returning to the battle royale mode this coming Tuesday.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
