Today developer and publisher 10tons Ltd announced that its upcoming game Time Recoil will be hitting PlayStation 4 on September 12th, 2017.
Time Recoil is a top-down, twin-stick shooter with a unique twist: a slowdown effect will activate every time you kill someone, but only for a limited time. In order to keep this effect going, you’ll have to keep getting kills consecutively. On top of that, each kill will grant you experience towards a powerful super move. Online leaderboards will also be featured if you want to see how fast you completed a level as compared to everyone else.
In addition to the PlayStation 4 edition, an Xbox One version is also in developement, and will be available a few days after, on September 14th, 2017. The developer also stated that a PlayStation Vita edition is possible in the future, however that this would be predicated on resources, and whether or not it would have time to develop it.
Just like the PC and Xbox One versions of the game, the PlayStation 4 edition will cost $13.99. It’s unknown whether or not pre-orders will get the same 20% discount that Xbox One players do.
Time Recoil was originally released on PC as a part of Steam’s now defunct Greenlight program on August 10th, 2017.
