There’s the age-old question when some gamers talk about The Witcher and that’s whether you prefer Triss Merigold over Yennefer of Vengerberg. Whatever you choose, there’s no doubt about it that both of these formidable women bring their own unique and enchanting qualities to the game. What is even better is when we see incredible cosplays of either of these strong-willed characters and today, we are shining the spotlight on the one and only Triss, a legendary Temerian sorceress of the 13th century and a member of King Foltest’s royal council from The Witcher series.
Professional cosplayer mira_ladovira never ceases to amaze as it seems like she is able to slip inside the persona of so many characters. Some of these cosplaying adventures include 2B from Nier: Automata but Mira’s main interest and skills lay within the magical walls of The Witcher. Sporting Triss’s fiery red hair and her trademark amulet – sapphire overlaid with silver, Mira channels Triss amazingly. It’s obvious by her clothes that Mira has studied Triss Merigold’s apparel closely and has matched every detail, even down to the brown leather whist coat and Triss’s subtle but alluring eye makeup.
If you would like to check out Mira’s other cosplays, and I very much think you should, head on over to her Instagram where her page is packed full of incredible characters that she has slipped into the shoes of that mostly consist of The Witcher.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt celebrated its 5-year anniversary last year so, naturally, I took to my keyboard to type out why I still love it so much to this very day. If you have a few minutes, you can check that out right here. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and the Complete Edition will be heading to next-generation platforms.
