Today, Arc System Works released a new trailer for The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories, next game by famous developer Swery.
The video introduces the extremely cute waifus of the game: the main character J.J Macfield and her friend Emily Thompson. We also get to see some of the game’s jumpscare moments, more gruesome deaths and overall weirdness one can expect from Swery and his studio White Owls. Last but not least, we get a glimpse of the deep friendship, and perhaps love, between J.J and Emily, but we’ll have to wait for the game to release to find out.
Please keep in mind before watching the trailer below that the game’s jumpscares and grotesque elements might not be for everyone. The game’s official site has a similar warning as well.
The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories launches on October 11th for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam.
White Owls is also developing another game, The Good Life, which was funded via Kickstarter.
