Stoic Games and Versus Evil’s The Banner Saga series has given players the chance to experience an epic and heartbreaking story set in Norse mythology, and with the series set to conclude this July with the third game, Nintendo Switch owners will get to experience the next chapter in a few weeks with The Banner Saga 2.
Publisher Versus Evil has announced that The Banner Saga 2 will be releasing for Nintendo Switch owners through the eShop on June 7th, 2018 for $19.99. As with the first title in the series, players will take command of a roaming band of heroes while not only taking on enemies in a harsh world, but also making tough decisions that can be imported from The Banner Saga, and will have an impact in the series’ third and final title, The Banner Saga 3.
Given that the series’ final chapter is set to arrive in July, Versus Evil’s release schedule for The Banner Saga games has lined up pretty perfectly in giving players the chance to experience the trilogy just a few months before its conclusion, and the release of The Banner Saga 2 should get players primed for the conclusion this summer.
The Banner Saga 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android, while its Nintendo Switch version will be coming on June 7th, 2018.
