Atlus launched a new trailer for the upcoming Furyu developed RPG, Alliance Alive, coming to Nintendo 3DS on March 17, 2018 in North America and Europe.
This new trailer introduces a few of the game’s main characters, including:
Gene – A type of mage known as a “Signimancer” who uses artifacts to wield powerful magic, and belong to the Signimancy Guild. He is a strategist who tries to not run into situations based on emotion, but rather with proper planning. His knowledge and eloquence has gained him respect from the Daemons.
Rachel – A mercenary who works for the Signimancy Guild. She counters Gene’s personality with a more fiery temper which ends up in them arguing over their viewpoints. However, they do work together towards the same cause.
Tiggy – A young girls who is researching the global threat known as “Dark Current”. She refers to herself as “The Genius Professor” and can be found creating strange inventions.
In The Alliance Alive, enemies known as Daemons have invaded the world and created the Great Barrier to separate the realms. These events created the Dark Current, which carved a cross shaped swath across the ocean and swallowed up any cities in its path. The rule of the Daemons has lasted hundreds of years, but now a resistance has been born.
The Alliance Alive is written by Yoshitaka Murayama, with game design by Kyoji Koizumi, and a vision realized by director Masataka Matsuura. The game features explorable towns and dungeons as well as a turn-based battle system.
The Alliance Alive will launch physically and digitally in North America, and digital only in Europe.
