miHoYo, of Genshin Impact fame, is finally launching Tears of Themis this week, its new mobile game full of bishies voiced by popular voice actors – pre-download has started as well.
Tears of Themis is officially described as an “Adventure of romance and wits”. The game mixes a gacha system, dating sim elements, and ADV gameplay similar to Ace Attorney. With detective work and court trials.

New character SSR preview trailers
Over on Twitter, while counting down to release, new short trailers for each of the characters were also released. Tears of Themis has only four characters, but each one is voiced by a veteran seiyuu who made it big in the 2000s or early 2010s. From Prince of Tennis and Code Geass to Attack on Titan and Token Ranbu. The gorgeous cast is a big reason enough to play the game if you’ve been watching anime for a few years at least. miHoYo once again shows it really knows what it’s doing, and the slogan “tech otaku save the wold” isn’t for show.
Luke Pearce (Yuki Kaji)
Artem Wing (Junichi Suwabe)
Vyn Richter (Jun Fukuyama)
Marius von Hagen (Kaito Ishikawa)
Tears of Themis also features character stories where the backgrounds of each character are deepened. There’s also a video messages system: each character can call you at various moments. I definitely plan to download and try the game out at launch, but what do you guys think of Tears of Themis? You can always hit me up on Twitter @A_iyane07 to discuss it.
