The latest game in Bandai Namco’s popular Tales of series has seemingly leaked just a day before E3 2019 begins. It’ll be titled Tales of Arise. These new screenshots seem to show off an updated engine, with noticeably improved visuals compared to the latest mainline game Tales of Berseria. You can check out two screenshots of the game down below.
Of course, pre-E3 rumors and leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt as many fakes find their way onto the Internet every single year before or during the show. However, it would be awesome to see the Tales of series get a graphical upgrade after years of relatively similar visuals. We’ll have to just wait and see if Tales of Arise is real or not.
With Microsoft consistently trying to broaden their Japanese library, it wouldn’t be too surprising if the game was revealed during their E3 press conference. Especially because Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition was released on the platform earlier this year.
E3 2019 begins tomorrow in Los Angeles, California with EA Play, where we’ll get our first look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. You can check out Microsoft’s E3 press conference on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. PT, followed by Bethesda at 5:30 p.m. PT. Ubisoft will take the stage on Monday at 1:00 p.m. PT and Square Enix will close out the day at 6:00 p.m. PT. Last but not least, Nintendo will finish off all of the major presentations at 9:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday.
According to the leak, Tales of Arise will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
