We are here at the 2018 Heroes of the Dorm National Championships where the Heroic Four teams — University of Kentucky, Université Laval, University at Buffalo, and California Polytechnic State University – Pomona — will face each other to win the cash prize of $500,000 to help them with their tuition.
We had the opportunity to tour the Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles and check out how the entire operation runs. It is pretty incredible and interesting to see all the equipment it takes to run a successful and functional stream. Also, seeing all the Blizzard artwork and statues brings tons of joy to my heart. You can tell there was a lot of love put into this place.
For those who may be unaware, the Blizzard Arena is the home of the popular Overwatch League for its inaugural season. It is great to see that it is also being used for other Blizzard events like Heroes of the Dorm.
