After so many rumors, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury was finally unveiled last September 2020 in a new port for the Switch as part of Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct. Although fans didn’t get to see too much of what was in store for them, a bad-ass trailer was then shown off in January 2021 showcasing the Bowser’s Fury section of the game that hasn’t been seen before. Now that the day has come to play Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, what time will the game get released onto the Nintendo Switch and how big will the file actually be?
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury release time
Depending on where you call home in the world, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury‘s release time will differ. Going by the company’s other games, usually they are live from 12 am February 12 on the east coast of America, 9 pm on February 11 in the pacific timezone, and in the UK, Super Mario 3D World should be available by 2 pm February 12 where players can gain access to the digital version of the game.
If you are a bit more old school and fancy the physical copy to add to your already overflowing collection, you can just pick up the physical edition of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury from your local video game store from today, February 12.
How big is the download size for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury?
Waiting for a game to download can be a right pain in the butt. For this particular game, make sure you have 2.9 GB of free storage space on your Switch as that’s how big it’ll be. For reference, the original game on the Wii U had a file size of 1.7 GB but with the brand new content in Bowser’s Fury, the bigger file size makes total sense.
