Today Sony Interactive Entertainment France released a lovely video starring SIE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida. After reminiscing for a bit about his past at the company, Yoshida-san talks about some of his favorite PS4 games recently announced at Paris Games Week.
Yoshida-san mentions that, while it wasn’t his decision, Sony Interactive Entertainment wanted to have a big presence at one of the European shows this year, since they skipped last year. This time around they had a big focus on having a big show in Paris, so they brought lots of exciting new announcements and updates.
Yoshida-san himself had two games that he was looking forward to announcing. The first is Sucker Punch’s unpredictable Ghost of Tsushima. He has been playing the game for the last year, and he mentions that the team at Sucker Punch is “so good at making action games feel right.”
The second game was Blood & Truth for PlayStation VR by SCE London Studio, as many have been asking a follow-up to London Heist, delivered in full game form.
We also hear about the PlayLink title Erica, that is part of a line created to make gaming on PS4 more accessible by bypassing the DualShock 4 and using smartphones as intuitive controllers. Interestingly, Yoshida-san explains that the idea of Erica was actually born before Sony thought of PlayLink.
As a bonus, towards the beginning of the video you can also see the beloved executive play Gran Turismo Sport. You can check it out below.
